SafirLab, the French Institute and CFI laboratory for change, is launching a call for applications for its next edition.
Every year since 2012, SafirLab has supported around twenty project leaders from North Africa and the Middle East in addressing the issues facing civil society and the media. It targets young adults aged from 20 to 30 in Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, the Palestinian Territories, Tunisia and Yemen.
Designed as a social innovation "accelerator" programme, SafirLab enables participants to benefit, in Paris, from the expertise of stakeholders in French civil society, to share successful local experiences and to devise further stages in their business or community projects.
In the three working languages of French, English and Arabic, Safirlab's mentoring includes workshops, à la carte tutoring and customised meetings within businesses, associations or institutions. This personalised programme enables participants not only to build on the skills they already have but also to publicise their initiatives and enrich their contact and partner networks.
Deadline for application: July 3, 2017
