The European Development Days (EDD): Strasbourg 15 - 17 November 2008

The European Development Days (EDD) are a major European Commission initiative. Each year they attract 3,000 participants from all continents, representing over 1,200 organisations working in international cooperation.

As a platform highly suited to debating major issues in international cooperation and development aid and launching new initiatives, the EDD 2008 will be focussing on the theme of local governance.

  CFI initiatives at the EDD

The CFI stand CFI will be leveraging these days to raise awareness of its initiatives and cooperation brief among media players, political leaders, and international organisations. The CFI team will be on hand to share thoughts and discuss future collaborations.

“Hands-on” initiative at the EDD Throughout these EDD, CFI and the European Commission will be organising a training workshop on producing news reports. This operation will be targeting young journalists from the Africa, Caribbean, Pacific (ACP) region.
