It all started with images... making programmes available to televisions in the south is CFI’s core mission. By doing this, we have been able to foster special relations with over 130 partner televisions throughout the world.

We are constantly adding to and enhancing our programme offer to better meet our partners’ needs as they try increasingly to meet their viewers’ expectations. The CFI programmes are highly popular and may even be used as the core of the schedule for the televisions we work with. But since we could hardly promote cultural diversity with the French offering alone, we also increasingly offer African programmes. In this Focus, our new Director of Programmes, Philippe Herpin, will be telling you more about this offer.

It is also thanks to our expertise in programmes that we have been carrying out a growing number of consulting and training initiatives over the past two years to help our partner televisions to develop. With a single aim: that of enhancing their capacity to produce... their own images!
