Contributing to cultural diversity, backing our partners’ efforts to modernise their organisation and increase their production of programmes, facilitating access to new technologies in developing countries... These themes, which often crop up in the columns of our “Focus”, are core elements of our mission to foster audiovisual cooperation at CFI.

In this new issue, we will zooming in on new technologies, looking at the training session on new broadcasting media in Burkina Faso, the seminar on Digital Terrestrial Television in Algeria, and the Web-based report-sharing project in the Indian Ocean.

These three recent projects bear witness to the efforts deployed in the field by CFI teams in order to provide ongoing assistance with the development and modernisation of its network of partner televisions throughout the world.
