FOCUS N° 3 / FEBRUARY 2005

Editorial

After a smooth control room changeover, CFI has started out in 2005 with the reassertion of its aim to offer its partners increasingly richer and more varied programmes. The special programme schedule offered in February to African television channels for the forthcoming Panafrican Film and Television Festival of Ouagadougou (Fespaco) is ample proof of this. Continuing its consulting and training missions, CFI now handles all cooperation initiatives in the France Télévisions Group. Three newcomers from France Télévisions joined us beginning January. Christian Dauriac was appointed Assistant Managing Director, Jean-Luc Maertens, Director for Africa and Jean-Paul Beaumont, Assistant Director, in charge of certain cooperation projects. With these reinforcements, CFI has now consolidated its position as the pivot for French audiovisual cooperation.
