CFI is heralding the autumn with an African theme, bringing professionals and experts on African TV together for a special conference on 15 September focussing on “TV issues in Africa” at the French Senate.

For this event, we have invited around fifteen foreign speakers, mainly from the African continent, in order to gain a grasp of the perspectives and expectations for African TV and their viewers.

This is an important moment for CFI which is expected to lead to the drawing up of goals for new cooperation in TV, in an ever-changing cultural and economic environment.

We will obviously be giving you a roundup of these debates in the next issue of Focus!
