Mission accomplished! The Comoros Union finally got its own television, just in time to cover the electoral campaign. This was an exemplary operation for CFI, drawing on all our know-how for a whole year. Our work brought together engineers, technicians, journalists, chief editors, programme and programming experts etc., all united towards the same goal. It is a prime example of the different ways in which we support our television partners. CFI is extremely proud to have been able to participate in such a rare event: the birth of a state television.

The Comoros mission is over, and CFI is getting ready to move into its new premises this summer, at 131 avenue de Wagram, in the 17th arrondissement of Paris, but the pace of work hasn’t let up. On the contrary! This edition of FOCUS, and our website www.cfi.fr, gives you an overview of our many recent initiatives.

On 11 April, Francois Bonnemain was appointed President of the CFI Board. I am delighted with his appointment and am confident that he will support us in our efforts to improve our service to our partners.
