FOCUS N° 11 / DECEMBER 2006
Editorial
I’m delighted with the success of our management seminar. I was personally involved in this initiative which I know was eagerly awaited by our partners. I welcome the creation, on this occasion, of the “African broadcasters club” which I’m sure will help to further unite this community of professionals who work unflaggingly to offer modern, top-quality television to the public.
In a similar vein, at the beginning of December, CFI will be
bringing together the programme managers of its African partner televisions in Nouakchott, Mauritania, for their annual conference. As in previous years, this event will precede the start of the “SEFOR”, organised by our friends at the CIRTEF, and will give us a chance to evaluate the improvements made to our programme offering to meet our partners’ needs ever more closely.
These two events would neither be worthwhile nor possible at all if it were not for the respect and confidence which prevail in our professional and human relations. These qualities perfectly symbolise the true partnership which unites us more strongly than ever.
