The 3 winners of the Best Female Talents competition

In all, 250 talented women from 22 different countries replied to the call for applications.

CFI has joined forces with Keewu, a Senegalese production company, to launch the 'Best Female Talents' competition, which will give 3 female authors/scriptwriters, directors, novelists, journalists or bloggers the opportunity to receive training and then participate in the writing of a TV series.

The call for applications was launched on 7 May.
The entries greatly exceeded our expectations, and for that we are truly grateful to all of you.

The winners of the Best Female Talents competition are

  • Sonia Zain, a scriptwriter and business leader from the Ivory Coast
  • Calmine Agbofoun, a director and writer from Bénin
  • Seynabou Sy, a journalist and TV presenter from Senegal

We would like to pass on our warmest thanks to all the talented women who took part in the Best Female Talents competition, and wish the new team every success as they work together to develop the series.
