Kalimat Horra: the 8 winning journalists

Following its call for applications launched in late November 2017 as part of the Kalimat Horra project, the jury has selected 8 reports on human rights issues.

The 8 winners are:

  • Rim Ben Khlifa: 'Religious freedom: the Bahá'í faith in Tunisia' – Video report (to be broadcast on hakaekonline.com)
  • Kaouther Yatouji: 'When integrity is damaging' – Video report (to be broadcast on nawaat.org)
  • Aymen Touihri: 'Child beggars, victims of networks?' – Multimedia package (to be disseminated on inkyfada.com)
  • Dhekra Mensi: 'A woman in a van' – Video report (to be broadcast on Zitouna TV)
  • Teber Naimi: 'Child labour' – Audio report (to be broadcast on Radio Jeunes)
  • Amal El Mekki: M'Moush Wa9tou – It's not the right time' – Video report (to be broadcast on tunivisons.net)
  • Fatma Ben Hamad: 'Manual for survival in a police state' – Animation (published on inkyfada.com and Jeune Afrique)

The winners will receive support with the preparation of their reports and assistance with production.
