Launch of the Mekong Media Initiative

CFI launches a scheme to support online newsrooms in the Mekong region to publish content on environment, health and sustainable development.

Are you willing to cover stories about environment, sustainable development and the impact of climate changes on health?
Apply now to the Mekong Media Initiative. Deadline: July 15th, 2020

With the support of the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and as part of its Mekong: Sustainable News project, CFI will help local newsrooms to cope with the current Covid19 situation and assist them financially.

Launched on the occasion of the World Environment Day, the Mekong Media Initiative will offer service contracts to interested newsrooms in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam to boost their reporting on environment, health and sustainable development, with a focus on scientific reporting. The contracts will support the production of multimedia stories with the aim of improving access to quality information and raising awareness among their respective audience.
