#PAGOF: selection of participants

Following the call for applications by the Project for Promoting Open Governments in the Francophone World (PAGOF) for Tunisia issued in May 2018, six two-person teams from media outlets or NGOs were selected to take part in three training sessions.

The teams are:

  • Taha Tlijani et Rakya Ben Khalil
  • Khouloud Ayari et Mohammed Limen Smida
  • Ismail Mestassi
  • Mohamed Khalil Titouhi et Hamza Louati
  • Dora Ben Abdelkader et Bahija Belmabrouk
  • Majdi Draouil et Moez Ben Rejeb

The teams will attend three practical workshops, the first of which will be held in Tunis from 28 to 30 June.

By the end of the training programme, they will have designed a data-based project, which will be published and/or put online, and developed new skills.

The aim of the Project for Promoting Open Governments in the Francophone World (PAGOF) is to support stakeholders and reforms in Burkina Faso, Tunisia and Côte d'Ivoire, and also in recently acceded countries (Morocco) and countries that have almost met the eligibility criteria (foremost among them Guinea and Senegal), in defining and implementing priority actions.
It also aims to provide information and support in countries that are close to being eligible to join (Benin, Haiti, Mauritius, Madagascar, etc.) and to promote exchanges between these stakeholders.
