SafirLab – 33 enterprising young people from the Arab world gather together in Paris

The 2013 edition of SafirLab, which will run from 18 to 29 November in Paris, will welcome 33 young people who have been carefully selected based on the quality of their professional projects.

These young people, who are all aged between 20 and 30, will take part in a progressive training programme designed to help them strengthen and consolidate their skills. Since it has been devised as a breeding ground for projects, the programme will provide support to these young people as they seek to complete their professional or cooperative project, by providing them with mentors, tools and customised methods.
Another objective of SafirLab is to establish a long-lasting dialogue with these enterprising young people.

For two weeks, the programme will alternate between project presentations, theme-based workshops, and debates and discussions concerning good practices.
Many leading figures have been invited to speak at the training programme and lend their vast experience and visionary outlook. Among those attending will be Edwy Plenel, Martin Hirsch, Tariq Krim and Vincent Glad.

This edition will be held in Paris, primarily in FIAP Jean Monnet's headquarters in the 14th district, and also at the Fondation Eugène-Napoléon in the 12th district.
