Ukraine: four winners announced following calls for documentary projects

MediaFitAs part of the Media Fit project, CFI is supporting the production of independent documentaries. Four projects were chosen following the call launched by UAPBC.
These projects cover the current situation of Ukrainian society and adaptation by the people, who have not hesitated to change their way of life, the functioning of the Ukrainian emergency services in different regions of the country, the new living conditions of the Ukrainian people and their new reality. 
Support is also provided to help produce comedic sketches made up of short stories on Russian propaganda, which aim to keep people laughing while also combating misinformation.
All the projects supported by CFI to help with the production of short-format documentary series have now entered the production phase. The first episodes will be broadcast in April 2023. The committee received over 30 project proposals.
The selection committee members noted the great originality and creativity of the projects received and competition between these high-quality proposals was very close.
